Bored Ape #1798,better known as Jenkins the Valet, received the Bored Ape Yacht Club community grant and has been hard at work on the world’s first community generative full feature book.
“I’m a service ape,” Jenkins said in a press release posted on Twitter. “That’s it. It would be a lie to even say that I was a service ape with big dreams. I never thought I’d amount to anything and serving as the valet at the Bored Ape Yacht Club has been the ultimate honor.”
Jenkins describes the community generative full feature book as a “choose your own adventure” project. This means members of the project will help determine everything that happens in the book.
To become a member of the project apes will need to purchase Jenkin’s Writer’s Room NFT for .069420 ETH. The projects NFT circulation supply will be 6,9420.
Purchasing the NFT will give holders access to the “writers room.” Being in the writers room gives holders the ability to vote on genre, plot ,characters, cover art, the title and other aspects of the book. Holders of this NFT will also be airdropped an NFT of the final book. They will also be listed as authors on the book and any other book that Jenkins brings to market, according the Jenkin’s press release.
Since receiving the community grant, Jenkins and the team have been working hard to make the project a reality.
Recently, Jenkins announced that 0xfoobar had joined the team as the lead solidity developer for the project. 0xfoobar will be working on bringing the “writers room” to life.
